A lovely valley near Trento, a wonderful national park and the benefits of very light spring water with low mineral content – these are the attractions of the little town of Pejo and its thermal springs. Situated in the Pejo Valley near Trento, the town boasts a kind of water whose curative properties have been known and prized in Italy and abroad since the 17th century. There are three springs – the Alpina, the Antica and the Nuova – which produce low-content alkaline mineral water containing bicarbonate and iron and a high level of carbon dioxide. It is used chiefly for drinking and inhalation treatments and less frequently for bathing cures. The new Spa Centre offers treatment cycles which are particularly indicated for cardiovascular and respiratory condition, and disorders of the urinary and gastrointestinal systems. The centre also has a thermal swimming pool, group hydromassage, Turkish bath, aroma bath and a well-equipped gym. Set in breathtakingly lovely natural surroundings, visitors to the Pejo Spa who want to explore the area will be spoilt for choice.

The nearest beauty spot is the Stelvio National Park and many wild animals are to be found in the part near Pejo.
