The Hotel is in Praiano, between Amalfi and Positano, in a central location but still peaceful and quiet. It has been built in a typical Mediterranean style. A good example of skilled architecture, which blends perfectly with a landscape of unvaluable beauty, declared by the UNESCO, as a World Heritage Site. The Hotel has the Certificate of Enviromental Management System, according with the UNI EN ISO 14001 Rules. You'll find a new GYM and New TURKISH Bath, decorated with hand-made artistic mosaics with hundreds of ceramic Tiles. • Rooms: Tramonto D'Oro, is a 40 Rooms Hotel. Each individually sized and furnished; most of the bathrooms are decorated with Artistic hand- painted ceramic from Vietri. All with private Bathroom, Hairdryer, Sat-TV, Heating and Air-Conditioning individual system, Direct-dial Phone, Minibar and Safe. Most of the rooms dominate the spectacular scenery, between the sky and the sea with the " Li Galli " Islands ( which recalls the myth of the Ulisse's Sirens ), Positano and the famous " Faraglioni " of Capri. • Restaurant: Our Restaurant offers you a wide choice of local specialities. Based on simple and tasteful recipes, made with 1st quality ingredients, our " cousine " is meant to meet any kind of Dietary requirements ( e.g. Vegetarians, Children Menus ), upon request. Adding to this, the breathtaking views on and along the idillyc surroundings ( Positano, Capri and its Faraglioni ), the " delight " could be complete! • BREAKFAST: On the open terrace or indoor Panoramic Breakfast Room always with wonderful views, you can have your breakfast until late morning; you can also enjoy breakfast on the rooms' private terrace. • Swimming pool: A large, outdoor Swimming Pool is on the Hotel's roof ( Open from May to October, depending on the weather ). • Banquets & meetings: Small meetings and conferences can be organised at the Hotel and we can help you in organising weddings, dinners and banquets as well. • The gym: To keep fit, without going too Far….. TRAMONTO D'ORO offers you, two good options: a) Its well equipped GYM with " Technogym " equipment b) 400 steps to the " GAVITELLA " beach ( but of course, you can also arrive to another beach " La Praia " in an easier way, using our shuttle service ).

We booked a superior room and it came with a lovely view. The room was big in size and very tastefully furnished and the hotel is very chic. We sunbathed and used the pool everyday with the beautiful coast in the background. Breakfast was a treat and we have found the hotel we will be using when we return and believe me we will return! Thanks for a most memorable stay.

We consider this hotel to be a hidden gem. It is not in the major tourist centers of Amalfi or Positano but is perfectly located for exploring the entire Amalfi coast. The rooms are large and well appointed and the view is absolutely breath-taking. We received excellent value for the price.
