| We welcome you to our 4-star-hotel! Hotel Miramonti is located in St. Kathrein, a part of Hafling, an extraordinary place overlooking a never-ending backdrop of striking nature and the most breathtaking views of the spa and cultural town of Meran.
From the outside Miramonti offers traditional alpine architecture, however, the inside reveals many surprises … Clear lines in interior design, light-flooded atmosphere and warm colours in neutral tones give this house its unique character together with the impressive décor using precious wood, glass and natural materials. The Hotel is in the village of Avelengo, with its population of just 600, is situated only a short distance from the resort of Merano. Avelengo can be reached on a wide road with panoramic views leading from Merano (300 metres above sea level) to the high altitude plateau Monte Zoccolo (1.25 km above sea level).
Merano offer a huge range of leisure activities for everyone, including walking, hiking, horse riding and cycling. These leisure activities are all surrounded by the untouched natural environment where you can enjoy "Meraner Land" at its best.

By car (from the Brenner Pass):
- Take the A22 motorway south from Munich via Innsbruck across the Brenner Pass to Bolzano.
- Exit the A22 at Bolzano Sud and continue your trip to Merano.
- Exit at Merano Sud, keep in the right lane, follow the main street SSP98 in direction to Avelengo.
- You pass through 4 tunnels – after the fourth tunnel turn left in the yellow route Santa Catarina
- Follow the signs to Hotel Miramonti.
From the Reschen Pass:
- Drive south through the Venosta Valley in direction to Merano.
- Take the exit at Merano Sud, cross the bridge on the left, then turn left again onto SSP98 in direction to Avelengo.
- You pass through 4 tunnels – after the fourth tunnel turn left in the yellow route Santa Catarina
- Follow the signs to Hotel Miramonti.
