Rooms Hydromassage tubs or showers, LCD TV and wi-fi internet access are the standard for the 52 rooms, which alternate old-fashioned and modern styles. Antique Sicilian furniture, tapestries and damasks contrast with microforate plates, metallic plaster and vinyl paintings. And when you want to be cradled by the stars, there are the two Glitter Suites on the top floor, with panoramic terraces offering views over Mt Etna or the sea, so you can relax in the waves of the hydromassage swimming pools installed in a parquet deck under the sky, and enjoy a unique show… But the innovations also include “event living”……… ……“event living” moments “Avant-garde technology” is a must to satisfy the numerous demands of modern “homo congressualis”….. 350 white leather seats, combined with the most up-to-date, sophisticated audiovisual equipment, create a fusion with games of light and stunning design. Hi-tech and originality are the characteristics of this building, ready to act as venue for workshops and meetings, and destined to leave its mark in the field of congressional organization. The new dimension of mobile work is brought about by a wireless system in all the areas of the hotel, a “peer to peer” technology for the networking/online connection of 500 personal computers, a 42” plasma monitor for business presentations, and the possibility of immediate creation of the DVD relative to the conference for each partecipant. After a full immersion in the BUSINESS area of the hotel, the water games of the SPA will help guests relax and regenerate, body and soul. The banqueting facilities, with impeccable service and attention to every detail, are one of the peculiarities of Villa del Bosco & VdBNEXT. The “Vaccarini” meeting-room, with its frescoes representing the Baroque monuments of Catania, is a charming, evocative place, bringing back the atmosphere of aristocratic parties. The ideal for those special, old-style occasions. The rooftop “Terrazze Romane” floats between the sky and the sea…senses travel in boundless space. Strong contrasts, bright colours and clean lines define the new Banqueting Hall. Pony-skin upholstery and clever lighting create a charming atmosphere. The “Kennel Restaurant”, name inspired by the 18th century stone dogs which guard the entrance to this welcoming, elegant place, alternates classical Sicilian cuisine with national and international preparations. |
