| Our structure offers its guests many advantages that other, similar organisations find difficult to put together in a single package.
Made from a “Benedictin Monastery” built in 1300, its restoration has been masterly to say the least and such was the skill required that it has been the subject of study and technical/scientific disclosure.
It is situated at the heart of the old village centre and its entrance faces the main square of Bettona. The Relais blends in magnificently and in a functional way amongst the oldest and most characteristic buildings of the village.
Parking is easy, but should you prefer it, the Relais shuttle will suit your needs, ensuring that your arrival and stay are trouble-free.
It is well known that Umbria is completely surrounded by verdant countryside and is full of history and culture.
However, the biggest mistake is to think that it is all the same. Well, Bettona is not the same as any other village in Umbria: it is built high up on a hill and commands a breathtaking view of the whole of the valley: from Perugia and Foligno, through Torgiano, Assisi, Santa Maria degli Angeli, Spello and others, some of the most enchanting places in Umbria.
Its location means that it is easy to reach any of these places in just 15 minutes, either by car or by shuttle service.
The airport is also only a 15 minutes’ drive away.
Bettona and the Relais are also in the middle of the Wine Route called “Il Cantico”. The “Wine Routes” are the new frontier for erudite tourism, for the curious, for those who appreciate and therefore seek all aspects of “knowledge” and the “art of living”.

Relais La Corte di Bettona is situated in Bettona's historical centre, village of Etruscan origins and medieval aspect, in a beautiful old building which has been completely yet sensitively restored to blend in with the surrounding architecture. Horse-riding, trekking itineraries, wine tasting, among other activities is what you will find, so after all this, nothing like enjoying a relaxing happy hour in our piano bar in a cosy atmosphere, before tasting the flavours of Umbrian cuisine in our restaurant "La Taverna del Giullare".

From Nord: ( A1 Florence-Rome ) exit Valdichiana, continue on the E45 in direction of Perugia exit Torgiano. At the lights of Torgiano follow the indications for Bettona, and then our direction signs.
From South: ( A1 Rome-Florence) exit Orte, continue on the E45 in direction of Perugia, exit Torgiano. At the lights keep on in direction of Bettona, and then follow our direction signs.
